We thought it was about time we said hello again and let you all know that we are still alive and kicking but not traveling at the moment.
Boy what a year! got conned into coming out of retirement to take over as IT manager of a Uni for what was supposed to be 3 months to start the rebuild process while they looked for a full time manager. Ended up being 6 months. Came home to Rainbow and got sick, that messed up a couple of more months. Almost finished rebuilding a heritage shop in town and refurbished the tables in the park space down the centre of Federal street.
We are looking forward to hitting the road again soon and plans are under way. Considering the time of year we will get started it is looking like the Eyre peninsular and WA.

Thank goodness for that! We were a tad worried about you two.
Welcome Back
Wow, you have been busy. Thank you for letting us all know you are still OK; we look forward to hearing more.

Good to see you back here Drifters.
We have been grounded too for health reasons. Judy has to have an op. sometime between now and June 2017 at Toowoomba hospital
so no big trips on the horizon just yet.
We've been at Blackall for 4 months and got to Tin Can Bay yesterday for a few weeks ( months ?? ) whatever.
This getting old stuff is a buggar

.
Last night as I was on the stair
I saw a man that wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish he'd bloody go away.

Not good Sands, I hope Judy is OK. and you can get back to it soon. I had my annual op to check ok my cancer last June and it is still all clear which makes it 12 years now. I had missed it this year and got a call from the surgeon telling me he had booked me in and required my presence. They can be bullies sometimes.
Have fun in Tin Can Bay.

Thank you Sharon
We are back in Rainbow at the moment tying up some loos ends, fixing up the garden and making plans for a trip.
We can't wait we need to hit the road and discover stuff.
