We are helping farmers in central Queensland for a while.

i am still at longwood victoria with the replacement of my right knee coming up next tuesday 6th of december at st vincents hospital melbourne then to get it working properly then going to hit the road again so should be about the end of march can just hope so hope to catch up out there in the long paddock

In the process of setting up "Base" here .. Yeah .. I know .. it's in the "boondocks", but I've found it to be a place which moves slowly so I can keep up with it ..
Not for everyone, but being away from the concrete jungles and the never-ending pressures of "modern" society with all it's elements suits me just fine.
There are the obvious Pro's and Cons where health issues are concerned and day-to-day activities are non-existant, but the inconveniences are outweighed by ones peace-of-mind ..
I'm hoping to get away next year for a trip north to Bivuac Junction just out of Charters Towers. A friend of mine will be running the Parks Entertainment and social calendar and has asked for me to join him for a month or two .. Yep .. still got that travellin' itch that needs scratching !
