Hello travellers out there, what is the best time to hit the road from Hobart and go Adelaide up to Perth and cut through to the east coast. Love to hear a few suggestions. Many thanks....cheers.

Just found out its the Great Central Road ...what is the best month of the year...ta

Hi MaidM,

Welcome to Grey Nomads Australia!

I may not have the perfect answer but we did Perth to the east coast starting from September thru November and loved it.
The southern right whales were just off the Bight with their calves, shingleback lizards were pairing up and visiting us at camp and the weather was good to us. Do you have a time limit?
