opinions on the cost of caravan parks

Bollon, qld, at Wallum Creek reserve. Donation. Flush toilets, water taps. Showers in main street 500 metres away. Great takeaway, pub and museum. Rubbish bins emptied weekly. Located between St George and Cunnamulla. We stayed there twice. Very friendly town.

Thank you all. I have been discussing the prices at our local park which has risen from $16 to $20 per night or pay for 5 stay 7 for powered sites. The park has toilets and showers, it is walking distance from the shops with IGA, Servo/Road house, baker, butcher, coffee take away, hardware, patchwork, newsagent etc. But the park is not well frequented and we must be doing something wrong. We do have a free park 10k out of town with flushing toilets as well.
Any suggestions on what would attract you to a town like Rainbow in the Mallee would be appreciated.
