almost free camps

Maryborough, QLD. Hi guys, new to the group and I am chasing some feedback. The local Football (Soccer) club that I am associated with has just been granted a lease on land directly adjacent to our current club facilities which is to be used for low cost camping (self contained RV's). Hot showers and toilet facilities are provided and is also 100mtrs from a council dump point. The club is looking at a cost of $10 per RV per night. My question is, is this a reasonable price for facilities provided. Regards Glenn

Yes, from our experiences $10 per night is around the mark these days for an unpowered site
with showers and toilets.

I agree. Hot showers and toilets is generally all one needs and $10 is quite attractive compared to what some caravan parks charge. No doubt it will be a great money source for the club plus puts grey nomads in a position to double up as 'neighbourhood watch'. Schools are doing something similar when the holidays are on.
