Hello all, this is my first post since joining a few weeks ago on the recommendation of Drifters. My rig is a 1991 Hino Rainbow bus converted to a two-berth motorhome. Equipment includes combination stove/sink, griller, shower/toilet, fridge, hot water system, gas heater, fresh and grey water tanks and as much cupboard space as could be squeezed in. Electrical power comes from two 230a/h batteries fed by three 200W solar panels on the roof. I also tow a Daihatsu Terios attached to an A-frame for running around, sight-seeing and some extra storage space.
As for me, I am retired and have been travelling full-time for about 15 months. I'm from Sydney where I lived until 2012 when I moved to Yeppoon in Queensland to stay with friends who were also looking to travel, but failing health scuttled their plans. I'm currently in South Australia, having to loiter close to Adelaide for the past few weeks following eye surgery. Hopefully I'll get the all-clear next week to continue my travels.

Welcome Joe50
I am pleased to hear your eyes are improving and you will be back on the road soon. I really enjoyed our chats over a glass or two of wine at Rapid Bay.
Regards
Phil

Hi Phil, yes I instantly recognised the location as soon as I saw it. Having a check-up on the eye tomorrow along with a little preventative laser treatment on the other. Raring to get back on the road. Sorry to hear about the Franklin, hope it's not too badly damaged.
Cheers, Joe

Hi Roy & Mia, thanks for your welcome. Looks like you're well set up for some serious Grey Nomadding! Hope our paths cross at some point in the future.
Cheers and safe travels, Joe
