At Corella dam / Clem Walton park . Between Cloncurry and Mt.Isa .
Not a bad spot , but it is bloody windy right now . Staying for a day or two . Mt.Isa show is on this weekend , so will keep away from there until Monday .
After that it's down to Boulia for the camel races . 13th , 14th and 15th july .

Kerri and Ted , G'day . The trip to the Cape should be a beauty .

Cheers, Brian

Last night as I was on the stair
I saw a man that wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish he'd bloody go away.

Hi Everyone

Can you believe that we left Emerald this morning travelled through Charters Towers and arrived in Townsville and it has rained all the way!! Still raining now infact.
We don't have the van with us as we are on our way to Cape York and have our tent etc but we chickened out and decided to stay our first night in a cabin as we didnt want to pack the tent away wet.
I think the rain will be around for a few days.

Now at Boulia , camped 5kms out on the Bourke river . Not much water in the river . Some fairly big holes close by though .
Will whack the yabby pots in this morning . Temp here is 11 degrees , expecting 25 today . Just perfect weather .
Lost most of our water on the road yesterday . A rock must have hit the drain tap ( bloody plastic ) and broke it off , on 1 of the water tanks . Nothing to fit it here so I put a small bolt in and piled sikaflex around and all over it . Seems solid this morning .
Plenty of good water here . All bore water but tastes pretty good . ( if you like water that is ) .

We are now in Cairns and are staying put for a few days till this weather blows over. I'ts starting to break up now so we reckon we'll head off on saturday. No rush as we have plenty of time and don't want anything to spoil the trip.
Will keep you posted
