Good tucker with info recommendations

Thanking everyone for their valuable input to date.

I've read with interest that when grabbing a bite to eat or a beer, local information is thrown in complimentary. That is so true.

I have attached a pic of one of our favourite stops at Bulladelah, NSW. Yummy food, plenty of parking for caravans in the side street alongside a tidy amenity block and updated info about a free camp being built soon by the river.
If you happen to pass by, be sure to call in.

If you like the occasional good pie , Hodges Bakery in Eumundi Qld. is a must .
Just great pies .

If you're heading through McKinlay inland Qld the local garage cooks a good breakfast. A few roadtrains parked out front are always a good sign of a good meal.

Steak . . . . . T-Bone or rump . I love steak and have been eating it as long as I can remember . ( over 60 years ) .

The best steak I've ever had was at the Jubilee Tavern , between Airlee Beach and Shute Harbour . Twice now . T-bone both times .

Talking of breakfasts jackyjacky .
Between Gympie and Tin Can Bay ( Queensland ) , There is a turn-off to a very small place called Wolvi . About 10 kms. along is the Wolvi store . Just the store , school and about 6 houses .

Breakfast at the Wolvi store is not to be missed if you are ever in the area .
Can't remember the cost , but it wasn't much .

Interesting statistics, Sands. If you have been eating steak for over 60 years I wonder how many bovines that is all up. I bet the chickens and pigs are pleased with your diet. Years ago I discovered a steak house in north Qld and bought a steak with oysters kilpatrick on top. Very nice with a bottle of merlot. Damn the dementia as I can't recall which town it was in but would like to enjoy it again.
