hi i'm new,hven't brought a motor home yet

I need to know if I will need a toll tag. as I live on the mid north coast.have never had to use one. I'm a solo traveler.

That would depend on where you plan to go. No tolls up here in Darwin.

Hi Grey Diva, as Topender said, it depends on where you plan to drive. As far as I'm aware only Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne have toll roads. I'm sure the tolling authorities in all three cities have plans for casual or infrequent usage if you're just passing through. I have a NSW RTA (now RMS) tag which works on toll roads in any of the three cities. Be aware that if your motorhome is above a certain height (like my bus) the tolling equipment will assume it is a commercial vehicle and charge a higher toll rate.

i have an every now and again account in victoria and when in qld i went over a toll road and just rang them and gave my account number and they charged it direct to my account
