We stayed at Judds Lagoon last night.
A damn good free camp 3.5kms off the Warrego Hwy. at Yuleba, 60 kms east of Roma.
Turn left at the Yuleba cemetery and follow the signs.

A large, level area next to the lagoon with plenty of shade, fairly new unisex toilet and outdoor BBQ and fire pits.

No power, no water.

Still some water in the lagoon. Got 14 very big yabbies overnight. Also 20+
smaller ones that went back into the water.

The best campsite we've been to between Toowoomba and Charleville.
Definitely a " go back to " spot for us.

Cheers, Brian

Last night as I was on the stair
I saw a man that wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish he'd bloody go away.

We went in to Judds Lagoon and had a quick look today.

Looks a picture after all the rain. The lagoon is full and plenty of thick green grass to camp on.

We didn't stay because we wanted to make some more miles but it is definitely one of my favourite spots.
I could feeeeeel those big black yabbies in that water. Yellow Belly too I reckon.

Cheers, Brian
