What to see, what to do, how much, can we take pets or do they accept large rigs. These are just a few things we may not have answers for. Hopefully here, our questions will be fulfilled.

CP at Coolamon, 35kms NW of Wagga.
$10 pv pn. New showers and toilets. Power, water, some shade.
100 meter walk to main street and shops.
Good meals at the Royal Tavern.
Last night as I was on the stair
I saw a man that wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish he'd bloody go away.

A caravan park Sands? How can that be for $10 with facilities? Is that a typo?. WikiCamps shows dogs allowed too.

$10 pn is right Kaye. Great value.
The town is really trying to get tourists staying there.
Several businesses, eg. chemist, publican, op shop asked if we were at the CP and what we thought of it, and would we come back.
It is a council owned park and the whole town seems to be supporting it.

Not sure if we are going to be anywhere near it when we head off but if we are within cooee, will make sure we stop over as a show of support. We are going to Gulgong from Victoria so we may be in the area. Will have to get the map out. Thanks for sharing. Let's hope they get plenty of business out of this wonderful initiative.
Cheers

we have been to coolamon quite a few times first when the park consisted of the strip on the right next to the tennis courts then the bowls club that was on the other side amalgamated with the golf club and got new greens so council took over the old greens area and extended the park out and built new ameneties block but the old one is still there with a dump point right next to it its a very quiet park and has always been $10 payable at newsagent
