Mungo N.P. NSW to Yunta SA

What to see, what to do, how much, can we take pets or do they accept large rigs. These are just a few things we may not have answers for. Hopefully here, our questions will be fulfilled.

Hello Nomads,
We are planning to head to the Flinders Ranges in April and was wondering if anyone has Traveled from Mungo N.P. NSW to Yunta S.A via this route.
Reaka, Pooncarie, Aston, Manilla, Windamingle, Nanya, Lock Lilly, Oakbank, Lillydale, Tiverton Yunta. Most of these are Homestead Names and not towns.
Just wondering if it is possible and open to any feedback.
Thx Nomads keep living the dream.
Cheers,
John and Trace

There appears to be roads / tracks between these places so in theory it would be possible depending on your vehicles
and road conditions at the time.
I'd be contacting some of the stations you would be going through and then keep a close watch on weather conditions when the time to
go comes.
If the weather turns nasty it's the sort of country you could be stuck in for a while.
I've been thinking about doing a trip along the Canning Stock Route, but the thought of being stuck out there for any extended period
is a bit off-putting.
Anyway, it's interesting stuff. Let's know what you decide.
Cheers, Brian.
Last night as I was on the stair
I saw a man that wasn't there
He wasn't there again today
I wish he'd bloody go away.
