I know it's on this forum somewhere but do you think I can find it
"It's not always about the destination, it's more about the journey."
We've just had a "journey" and I thought I would share some of our experiences.

We drove from NSW through Western Qld towards the NT. Along the way we witnessed various ways of Aussie life. This pic shows cotton being pressed.

We checked out the flood damage at St George and chatted with some locals about their experiences. This pic shows one of many levy banks on the river.

Mingling with fellow nomads meant we picked up more useful information. My trusty thong had a blow out, check out this tip for a temporary repair. The plastic tag that comes with bread was perfect for the job.

We were second on the scene of this rollover and luckily both trained in first aid. The 4WD had drifted onto the soft edge at 110kph, overeacted with the steering and swerved across the road onto the opposite verge where the vehicle rolled several times. I am pleased to say no fatalities and the driver is recovering in hospital.
