I tried to plant jacarandas down the drive in the Yarra valley but the winter frosts weren't kind to them and all bar 10 died. (500 metre drive) so we planted Paulownia Sapphire Dragon trees. Similar colour when in flower but lacking the scent of the jacarandas which are surviving but very slow growing. Pic attached.

We were blown away by the beauty of this place.Mallacoota Victoria. We took a chance and came South from Sydney this year whilst most people have gone North for the Winter!!
Plenty of space in all parks and nice and peaceful!
