What we love about being nomadic

True that no two sunsets are alike, that must be why I have hundreds of photos, LOL! I love the natural colours of rocks too. This is Marble Bar.

We think alike DD. Sunsets (and sunrises) and rocks. Can't beat the colours and the serenity they engender.

WE've been in Victoria for the last few weeks , and will be for a while yet too . Until the Tamworth CM week anyway .
Victoria's OK , but for us , there's nothing like the outback . Just love those wide open spaces . The little outback bush towns and their people .

Those great little pubs , like Nindigully , Clancys Overflow Hotel , The Blue Heeler , The Wobbly Boot , etc. ( Yes , I'm a pisspot ) . But I luv'em .

Hav'nt been to the " Alice " or the Big Rock for 40 years or so , but heading out there in 2013 . Can't wait .

We stay at Nindigully Pub on most of our trips North and will again next week on our way home from Charleville. Will only be overnight this time as the heat and I aren't on talking terms and as there is no power .... NO AIRCON.....AAARRRGGGHHHH

I'm like you Brian give me the outback anyday. Can't stand the hustle and bussel of the cities and big towns.

We love the bush as well. Missing it at the moment, have been working at Seynmour Vic for the last 3 weeks. Finish tomorrow and head to Beachport in SA. The shed should take us upto Christmas. Looks like we could be starting at Forbes on 7 Jan with contractor we are with now. Waiting to haear from another one who has work arond Louth, Tilpa and White Cliffs and then Ivanhoe from Feb to Sept. Love that region.
