I am quite certain there must be some photos out there that would be good to share....Funny,Unusual or just something that took your eye enough to snap a photo or two. There are many occasions when you just need to be there at the right moment and catch an unforgettable little moment on your travels. I remember many years ago when my son was just 3yo and we were travelling there was a young magpie, my son went up to him and put a stick on the ground next to him and the Magpie climbed onto the stick. It was an unforgettable moment just to watch the look on my sons face as he lifted him up. Nature is such a beautiful thing to be around, it creates wonderful memories that we will never forget.
Please share some of those memories with us.

Great idea, Kerri,

I'll start the ball rolling with my favourite up close and personal wild image. Thank goodness for zoom lenses. This image was taken on the Finnis River in the NT September just gone.

For this forum to be able to upload images, the sizing needs to be in jpeg format up to 800 x 800 and max 200kb.

If that is mumbo jumbo to some or you are not able to reduce your images to upload, please do not hesitate to email your images direct to us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. I promise to reduce them accordingly and email them back for you to upload at your own leisure.

Meanwhile, it is hard not to smile at a crocodile as they are always smiling at you. :)

Check this beauty out.

This is a photo of a photo of a 35 foot crocodile caught at Roper Bar Mission in 1914. We discovered the photo at Croydons museum in Qld.

Unbelievable, hey?

Great croc pics. What a monster in the Roper!

Here is a dust storm in outback NSW. You soon learn to keep your mouth shut. Dust storms taste crunchy.

De-tour

Duststorms, after growing up in Mildura Victoria I have a very vivid memory of red blankets of dust blowing over us on quite a regular basis. This being all the beautiful topsoil from the wheat country. when it passed everything was covered inside the house with a thick layer of dust. It can have quite an eerie feeling as the sun is blocked out and the light fades. They make good pictures!!
Keep them coming because once Ted and I hit the road you will have to put up with some of our snaps....

Kerri

This picture I took at Tamworth Country Music Festivals street parade. Meet Troy Cassar-Daly who is one of many that you will have the privilege of listening to if you visit Tamworth during this festival. As an Aussie, Tamworth is something everyone should experience at least once. Yeehaa!
