We just spent a week at Timber Creek so I could go silly with the digital camera. I just love the boab trees.
This is the Timber Creek town, 2 servo's and caravan parks almost next to each other. 5 cents difference in fuel prices ? The Croc Shop in between makes a great pie.

How could you not love these trees? This boab was a few k's west of Vic River roadhouse and surrounded by the beautiful red escarpment.

After speaking with a ranger it turns out you can camp in Gregory National Park with pets. So we stayed at Big Horse Creek (surrounded by boabs

)

This is a monument/memorial found at the lookout. It pays tribute to Nackeroos - an army unit that helped protect the coastline against attack during WWII.

Part of the track to Limestone Gorge on the Bullita Stock route. It wasn't very far and you could walk it quicker than drive it.
