Good photos Werkin and Smed. Forgotten what dry was after the wet season we just had. I reckon one of the best in about 14 years from memory. If any grey nomads are coming up my way let them know that some attractions such as Jim Jim falls haven't been that accessible yet. But plenty more to look at.

The dreaded " cocky gate " can be lethal if you are not careful how you release the gate.

There's obviously a technique involved, like being upside down? We went through the dingo fence a few times on our Simpson and Victoria desert trip. 4 or 5 gates? Crossed borders about 13 times.

If I saw that I wouldn't even know it was a gate LOL! I need to get out there and have a good look around. Imagine me if I had to open one and there was no you tube tutorial on how to, or even worse, no reception at all so I can't phone a friend LOL! Lovely photos.
